Argumentative Description
Argumentative is a practical application that will help you create argument maps, which will represent any issue/idea in a graphical way. You will be able to add reasons, premises, objections, and commentary to support your arguments. At the end, you will be able to get a better understanding of the issue by means of its graphical representation. Once the program is installed, you will be able to, first, establish the main premise you want to argue. Then you will find that there are three ways to discuss about your premise, by adding reasons, objections and helpers. Besides, each one of these elements will be represented by different colors within a nice graphical view. In addition, the graphic of the argument map can have different views and can be customized with many options, giving you as a result a better view of your project. Once your project is done, you are going to be able to save your argument as a map XML file, or as image (bitmap, JPG, PNG, or GIF). Moreover, another good feature of the program is that your project can also be exported to Microsoft Word documents, or Power Point files, or be transformed into other formats using an XSLT style sheet.
