CD Tray Manager Description
CD Tray Manager is a small Windows application designed specifically for helping you eject CDs or DVDs just by pressing a single button without having to manually reach for your CD-ROM in order to trigger the process. The advantages of being portableSince this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to automate the task for opening the CD-ROM on the breeze, without having to go through installation steps. Minimalistic looksYou are welcomed by a small and simple panel that embeds only a few dedicated parameters that you can work with. Everything is kept as basic as possible, so tweaking the dedicated parameters proves to be an easy task. How it worksBasically, it proves to be nothing more than a piece of cake to work with this utility as you only need to press on the “Open the tray” button in order to open up the CD-ROM. Additionally, you are allowed to pick the drive letter from a drop-down list. On the downside, there is no support for hotkeys that could help you open the CD-ROM on the fly. Since there aren’t many configuration settings, even rookies can master the entire process with just a few clicks. PerformanceDuring our testing we have noticed that CD Tray Manager carries out a task very quickly. As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t hamper computer performance, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality. Bottom lineTo sum things up, CD Tray Manager offers a simple software solution when it comes to helping you open your CD-ROM drive with just one click.
