RiffScan Description
The RiffScan was designed to be a small console application that reads a riff file and reports on the structures it finds within the file. Riff files include .wav audio sound files and .avi Video for Windows video files. The audio files are pretty boring, so the main reason for using this would be to summarize the structure of an avi video file. The syntax is "RiffScan ]" where infile is the name of the input avi file and outfile is the name of the output text file. If outfile is omitted, it defaults to the console, which is pretty useless. If infile is also omitted, the program prompts you for the names of the input avi file and the output text file.
